Evelyn Evano LPC, LMFT

Evelyn Evano, LPC, LMFT has been a Counselor and Medical Family Therapist in private practice since 2004 in Eugene, Oregon. She is both a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Couples and Family Therapist in Oregon.

Evelyn's practice specialized in individuals, couples, and family members who were coping with medical and health-related issues. Her personal experience with illness and healing deepened her commitment to helping others. In particular, as someone who lives with Type 1 diabetes, she specialized in diabetes counseling, focusing on the psychological, emotional, social, and behavioral aspects of living with diabetes. She also worked with many adults with Type 2 diabetes.

As a trained teacher of the Mindful Self Compassion program, Evelyn also specialized in compassion based therapy and self-compassion practices.
